Eastbourne Watch is a resident-focused community platform created to help people understand what is happening across Eastbourne, report local issues through the appropriate channels, and identify recurring problems within our communities.
Our aim is simple: to make local issues easier to see, easier to report and harder to ignore.

Eastbourne Watch brings together publicly available crime and policing information, local crime and community-safety news, and anonymised reports submitted by residents.
The platform is designed to give residents a clearer picture of issues affecting different parts of Eastbourne and to make it easier to find the appropriate organisation to report problems to.
Eastbourne Watch is intended to help residents move from simply seeing a problem to understanding it, reporting it and tracking what happens next.

The Incident Map brings together different types of information so residents can explore local issues geographically.
Police.uk data provides publicly available, anonymised crime information. Resident reports provide an additional community perspective and are moderated before publication.
These sources are kept clearly separate so that resident reports are never presented as confirmed police-recorded crimes.

Community submissions
Resident reports
Residents can submit information about issues they have experienced or witnessed in their community. Submissions are reviewed before they appear publicly.
Reports may be used to identify recurring issues or locations, but a resident submission should not automatically be interpreted as a confirmed crime or established fact.
